Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great week and even better weekend. Please forgive me for the lack of a new blog post last week, the weather wouldn't let me be great. If you live in the tri-state area then you know last week was terribly gloomy. This month is a very special month for www.theysayash.com because it marks 2 years since I took a leap of faith and started this blog that is so near and dear to my heart. I have always loved fashion and this blog has allowed me to share my passion for fashion by showcasing my personal style. Overtime, it has grown to incorporate other things that i love like travel and sharing reflections and advice I have learned as a young adult and professional. This blog has allowed me to connect with wonderful people and brands that I believe in and for that I am forever grateful.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of working with Princeton, NJ photographer Shelby Powell and we had a great time together! We wandered around the beautiful campus of Princeton University and found ourselves in a garden. I love flowers so shooting in this garden and putting fresh flowers in my hair only added to my excitement. Hence why I was laughing and twirling the whole time. I wanted to be as comfortable and carefree as possible so I decided to dress casually in one of my favorite colors (black) and accessorize with a printed scarf that I styled as a choker.

Thank you for reading my blog, sticking with me, and growing with me over the past two years. This blog is truly my happy place because I'm passionate about it and passionate about connecting with you by sharing stories through life and style. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this blogging journey and I look forward to making this blog stronger and better for you!
