I've mentioned in previous blog posts that blue is my favorite color and yellow is my happy color. When I received this easy breezy shift dress from Tobi, I knew I wanted to shoot it against something yellow to make it pop. The best thing about shift dresses is that they are comfortable and perfect for the hot days we have been experiencing lately. I decided to style my dress with Stan Smith's and a neck scarf to complete my causal look. This dress makes me feel like a carefree black girl! I love fitted clothes but nothing beats the comfort that comes with the ease of this dress and Tobi does a great job of making sure that all their clothes are both stylish and comfortable. 

Why do I look so happy aside from the fact that I love my outfit? Well, today is thankful Thursday and I'm feeling thankful for several reasons:

1. My blessings outweigh my problems.

2. I'm on vacation for the next few days and finally have some time to allocate towards self care.

3. My protective hair style is holding up well and I don't have to worry about doing my hair for at least one more week!

4. I've been staying committed to spending less money on material things so I can allocate more towards experiences and I feel like this summer is going to be amazing because of that!
