I was driving around with Kofi and our friend Alfred last weekend when we drove by a a beautiful garden with a patch of sunflowers and decided to stop to capture the moment. Thank you Alfred for the beautiful pictures! If you're in the tri-state area, definitely book him for a shoot. You will not be disappointed!

Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers because they make me happy (plants in general make me happy). Something about the color yellow always fills me with joy and merely seeing it gives me a burst of positive energy, What I admire most about sunflowers is that they stand tall and lean towards the light. Sunflowers are too busy thriving in all their God given glory to be concerned with distractions and negative influences. They are often considered weeds because they spring up in unexpected and sometimes unintended places, spreading their special sunshine wherever they reside. Sunflowers are wild. They don't need our help to thrive outdoors because they are nourished by the sun and the rain. Let's draw inspiration from sunflowers.
