I’m not a regular mom. I’m a cool mom, a strong mom, a smart
mom and a fly mom raising a cool kid! For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved
fashion and putting outfits together. Now I get to style my son and I! Clearly
he likes when we coordinate outfits and maybe style will be one of the things
we bond over as he grows and develops his own sense of style.
After giving birth to Avery, I had little desire to wear
cute outfits because I didn’t feel cute. I was in a style rut and yoga pants
and leggings were my uniform of choice for months because they were comfortable
and didn’t draw attention to my postpartum body. It wasn’t until my mom started urging me to go shopping and kept offering to buy me new dresses that I
realized I had lost myself in the style department and needed to get it together!
Great style has always brought me joy.
By the grace of God, I’ve been over my postpartum depression
for months and mama’s got her mojo back! I’m not a regular mom, I’m a mini
skirt wearing mama who loves to express herself through style and sometimes
coordinates looks with my little guy.
