Sometimes God put a blessing in front of us, but we’re so
busy looking for it in a different package that we miss the blessing and find
ourselves wondering in the wilderness looking for what He already tried to give
us.
At the beginning of March, I found these Nike Women’s Air Max in Mystic
Green for almost half price and didn’t buy them because I was waiting for a
better deal. After a week of waiting, they sold out in my size and I was beyond
disappointed. I initially saw these sneakers months ago but the price was too
steep for me so I dismissed them until I came across them online and decided
that I wanted to add them to my wardrobe. How cute are they!?
After missing the
great deal, I spent a few days hunting them down on the Internet and bought
them at a much bigger price. While that search made me appreciate the sneakers
more, I felt silly knowing I passed up the best deal the first time because I
couldn’t see it as a blessing and thought something better was coming along.
The moral of the story is that when God puts a good deal in front of you, be
wise enough to take it so you don’t end up paying more in the long run.
I styled these sneakers with a cami dress and cream
turtleneck. I wore this outfit to take a walk around the neighborhood on Saturday because I needed to get out the house! With
the Coronavirus going around and quarantining when I’m not at work, sometimes
self-care looks like getting a little dressed up in a cute outfit to take a short
walk for fresh air.
